Just make your way to the center and you will find them again. The Martian Invasion is the exception. It begins in the outer thirds of the world and is fought throughout the whole world. The only way to not be attacked during a Martian Invasion is to go deep underground, but it will, like the rest, last until completed or you exit the world.
